1. Like modern day Lithuania, the tour itself is completely free. However, some of the museums referenced in the tour may have entrance fees. More information on the fees can be found within the tour programme and in the FAQs.
2. The tour is suitable for all ages and, like the dissident lifestyle, can be experienced solo or with a group.
3. Our tour begins and ends at the Neringa Restaurant on Gedimino pr. 23, Vilnius 01104. Please be outside of the restaurant before you start the programme. Recommendations on how to reach it can be found here.
4. The tour contains directions, descriptions (written and audio) and visuals. There is no tour guide - you will unveil the secrets of the underground for yourself!
5. The tour is mostly outdoors, so please check the weather forecast. Lithuania is known for sudden changes, and we wouldn’t want you to be caught unprepared.
6. Most of the route is wheelchair accessible. More details in the FAQs.
7. The tour can last from 45 minutes to several hours, depending on your pace and choice to visit or skip museums. We’ve included recommendations for where to purchase snacks or a full meal and there are plenty of benches to rest along the route. Toilets are available in museums or restaurants and in addition, look out for public toilet options listed in the programme.
8. NOTE: The tour can be taken without visiting the museums you’ll encounter along the way - entering is completely up to you. While these museums can enrich your experience, the tour tells plenty of stories on its own.
However, if you do plan on visiting a museum or two along your tour, please check their websites and working hours and plan your trip accordingly.
